A Time to Give Thanks

As the fifth annual “A Time to Give Thanks” campaign continues, we are encouraging financial support on 11/4, through CASH OR CHECKS to that the Bellevue Pantry can use to purchase Thanksgiving turkeys.  Please make checks payable to “Pilgrim Lutheran Church” and mark them “A Time to Give Thanks” either on the check or on an envelope.  Place cash in an envelope marked “Bellevue Pantry”.

Voter’s Meeting-2019 Budget

The annual budget meeting for Pilgrim will be held Sunday 11/4 following the 10:30am church service.  The meeting usually starts at approximately 12:00pm in the sanctuary.  Copies of the budget will be made available to attendees, and should be sent out via email prior to the meeting.  Members are asked to arrive early to sign in and review the budget.

The COM will present updates, followed by the Treasurer’s budget report.  After time for questions, the congregation will vote to accept/reject the proposed budget.

We hope to see you there!  Please keep all comments respectful, as this meeting is held in the Lord’s house.

Women of Pilgrim Update

A big thank you to all the folks who helped set up the Family Life Center on Friday in preparation for the Holiday Bazaar, and again Saturday to restore the room for church services.  Many hands made the work get done quickly!

The proceeds from the Bazaar were $2,300.40.

The Year Book is printed and available to pick up in the Narthex.

Quilting is over until January.  Fifty-Four Quilts were sent to Lutheran World Relief this month.

Christmas cards to missionaries will be addressed and ready for YOU to mail soon.  Missionaries enjoy hearing from us!

We will be having a greeting card sale in the Narthex, and it operates on the honor system.  Please put money in an envelope when you wish to purchase cards – directions are posted on the display case.

Watch for an invitation to the annual Advent Brunch, to be held Dec 8th!
